SUNSET FAMILY SESSION

My family sessions are all about capturing the dynamic within your family unit. It's about your children's personalities, interaction, expressions and play. While I will often direct some posing,  most of the session revolves around enjoying the time together. You can expect the session to be centred around simply being with your children; hugging them, tickling them, making them feel at ease. It's through doing this that genuine memories and genuine love is captured.

All my family sessions are held outdoors within the last hour of sunset to get that golden soft light. I absolutely love the greenery and nature that changes with the seasons. I have a few favorite grassy spots that I use regularly, but I’m more than happy to check out new locations if you have one in mind.

A retainer fee of $150 is due at the time of booking in order to reserve your session date which will be put forward your session total. After your session, you will receive an online gallery of proofs with the images "softly edited" for you to choose your favorites from. You can stick to the number of images included in your session or you can choose to purchase more. Once you've selected your favorites, I will then edit those images to perfection in my four editing styles: no filter, b&w, matte filter, and B&W Matte.

What to wear...

Dress your family members in neutral tones if possible, avoiding bright colours, heavy stripes, logos, pictures or words on clothing. There is no need to be in formal wear or have family in matching colours, just tones and styles that compliment each other and take the season into account. Darker or earthy hues such as olive, tan, rust, mustard suit autumn and winter, and lighter fresh colours such as cream, blush, tan, pastels for spring and summer. Chunky knitted sweaters, jumpers, cardigans and hats look lovely in autumn/winter photos too. Please wear comfy shoes as we will be walking in nature most likely!
